I strongly support the use of encryption of Internet traffic, including electronic mail. Between August 2000 and May 2002 I received and kept 541 encrypted messages from 8 different people. I probably sent a similar amount of email, but since I do not keep copies of sent, encrypted mail, I have no numbers. I always encrypt (and often) sign all email, regardless of subject, to these 8 people. My choice of mail user agent (mutt) makes this a very simple thing to do. I strongly encourage you also to encrypt and sign all your email also. Switching to mutt with GnuPG will make it easy and convenient for you.
I created my first PGP key pair in 1995, but accidently lost the keys (2.6.3i) due to a system crash. In 2001 I migrated to OpenPGP compliant GNU Privacy Guard. My public key is available as public-pgp.asc. Before you use it you should really verify my PGP fingerprint. Contact me for details on how to do this.
This page exists (and has done so (in various forms) since 1996. Yes, some of you were not even born back then!). It is not a product of your (otherwise totally crazy) hallucinations. It was last modified Wednesday, 01-Sep-2004 23:05:24 CEST. The HTML is intended to be valid.
