Woke up at 5, caught the 06:55 SAS flight to Heathrow. Workshop at the Mariott Hotel from 10:00. Was home at 23:30. Long day.

13 DEG C, raining. Had brunch with Jes at the National Museum (135 DKK). Went to SATS with Brian (deltoids, biceps, lattisimus dorsi).

It's some 13 DEG C outside and fucking 28 DEG C inside the office! We have A/C all over and it helps zip. I'm not looking forward to the summer!
My bank transfer went through and I have again money in my German bank account. Paid the rent for April and for the electricity and the phone bill.
Wrote my German insurance company and asked them to terminate the contract - it doesn't cover anyway when I'm no longer living there. Instead I called a Danish company and discovered, pure luck, that they have an agreement with Orange - so I get 18 percent discount. Going to cost me some 1500 DKK per year - that's fine.
Mom and dad were here from Thursday till Sunday - see pictures from the apartment. Saturday Jes and Gitte joined us for dinner. Tomorrow Wednesday the moving company is going to come by and have a look at the wardrobe which they didn't put together properly.

Left Thursday evening for Frankfurt from Copenhagen. 21 DEG C and people in short sleeves! Fantastic! My apartment was in good state, and I immediately felt like home again. Friday morning the moving company called and said that they could, afterall, come Friday early afternoon instead of Saturday morning, as earlier said. They were leaving Dusseldorf around 11, and expected to be in Darmstadt around 14. I went to the bank, to Entega, and to T-punkt at Luisenplatz to try to sort out various issues (bills not being paid because the bank closed my overdraft because they noticed no salery was going in...). Eventually the movers showed up at 1940 - there had been traffic hell all around central Germany all day. From 20 to 0300 Saturday morning they worked emptying my apartment, and I had dinner and slept at Keith and Moira's place in Griesheim. Saturday I met up with Jens and Olga around noon, and went with them to see Wiesbaden some 30 km west of Darmstadt. Very nice city indeed. The weather was no longer super good, but at least it didn't rain. The night between Saturday and Sunday I again slept in Griesheim, and Sunday I visited Markus and Dani from 2nd-to-the-right. We had brunch together and went for a walk in some nice surroundings east of Darmstadt. At 1530 I showed a doctor around in the apartment - he will call me on Tuesday if he's interested in renting it. And at 1750 I caught the flight back to Copenhagen. And this morning, at 8, I met with the movers again at my old apartment, and instructed them where to put the furniture. The apartment is on the 3rd floor, and I'm happy I'm not the one who has to carry the furniture upstairs!!!
