14 DEG C, sunny, no wind. Summer has returned! Ran a very nice 6km (incl. the hill) alone. Lazy bastards!
Lunch: Char fillet "Geneva style" with button mushrooms and lemon, Tirami su, and a nice white wine.

Celebrated Olga's 25th B-day at Der Cubaner with Terma collegues and ex-collegues and Ukrainian friends and family. I had my last vodka-shot around half past midnight and was home sleeping at 1.

Went running at noon. 8 DEG C, cloudy. Doesn't rain yet (but I'm certain it will in a few hours).

Can you tie a bow tie? It's amazing what one does to entertain oneself, when one is bored on a Sunday evening.
Today I taught myself how to tie a bow tie. I have been wearing tuxedoes, well for some 10 years - the first time I wore one, I also wore a pre-tied bow tie. Soon after I realized I had to learn to tie the bow tie myself, so I bought one not already pre-tied.
In the last 10 years, whenever I have had to wear a tuxedo, and hence, a bow tie, I have been using a couple of hours each time trying to get the knot right. Yesterday evening I tried again, and suddenly I could do it! It doesn't look professionel, but I can do it without looking in the mirror and it take me less than 30 seconds now!
Amazing.
Can you do it?
Here's another guy who learned how to do it.

The course finished at 16, and I was in Heathrow at 17. Drank beers and read my book. Was in Frankfurt at 21:30, and home in Darmstadt at 22.

Saw Matrix Revolutions in West End at 1730. Had beers and yoghurt at the hotel afterwards.
The weather has been fine all week. 15 DEG C and sunny. Lovely.
