Today I installed my first partitioned Lotus Notes server, on Solaris 8 running on a SF280. Seems to work.

Monday - and I didn't go running for the first time in quite a long time. Because my running kit is the washing machine. And it's raining outside. Hmm...
Bad weeks start like this:

Today I cancled my subscription on Weekendavisen (Danish weekly newspaper). A pity, because it is a good newspaper. I cannot, however, accept the fact that they have not let Ulrik Hoey go a long time ago. His opinions are outrageous - close to being directly stupid, and even though people write to the editor every week (they do bring these letters, in fact) and complain, they don't fire him. When enough subscribers have left I hope they will realize what their problem is and get rid of it.

6 km, 20 DEG C. I was attacked by an eagle/hawk/big brown bird while running! It came from behind, hit my head - but let go immediately (phew!) and flew off, the same direction I was running. Maybe 1 meter from one wing to the other. Scary!

6 km, with the hill. I forgot to bring my towel :-(
14 DEG C, cloudy.
Roastbeef with melon salad as starter, then beef fillet medallions on tomato Pesto with grilled potatoes, followed by nut pudding (I think it was...). Add water. 8,60 EUR. They have started serving ecological grown vegetables. Good initiative.

Booked my flight from Hahn to Pisa, the 25th of May. Return flight 1st of June.

Steady 8 km with Steve. Phewww! 23 DEG C, partly clouded.
Lunch: Schnitzel (pork) with an oyster mushroom sauce and chipped potatoes, chocolate mousse, salmon.

Thursday and Friday were paid holidays, so I did a good deal of shopping, reading, and cooking. Bought myself a new pair of shoes (Lloyd, with rubber soles. Very light weight. A bit more modern than I'm used to...), a digital camera (Casio EXZ3 with 256 MB memory, 3.2 MP, 2 inch TFT display, and the size of a pack of cigarettes. Very smooth transfer (via USB) of files to WindowsXP), and baked some bread.
