I have cleaned up my desk, and my mailbox, handed over the projects, and in half an hour I'll turn over my access badge and keys for the office to the security guards. Goodbye to ESOC.

This evening I'll be spending with the neighbours from upstairs. Tomorrow I'll bring the apartment to a decent state, and Friday I'm off for Copenhagen. I'll probably not be able to write in this diary again till Monday or Tuesday. Tschuss, auf Wiedersehen, und Viel Spass. It was fun in Germany, but not fun enough! ;-)

By the way: The weather is decent - 4 DEG C, partly clouded, partly sunny.

Helped Jes and Gitte move to their new apartment. Caught the 17:40 plane home.

Had lunch with Jesper at Den Groenne Kaelder in Pilestrade.

Had to wait one hour in Copenhagen Airport for my train connection. Arrived in Randers at 23:49.

Up at 10:30, baked pancakes.

Went shopping, started reading The Bourne Identity at 15:30. Finished 01:30.

Ran 6 km in the lunch break with David. Dry, grey, 0 DEG C.

Saw Tatsaechlich Liebe in Pali with Jens and Olga.

The Beagle 2 successfully seperated from Mars Express.

SpamAssassin upgraded to version 2.61 on kirstine.fys.ku.dk. Much much better than the old 2.50. Fantastic.

6 km in the lunch break. Sunny, 5 DEG C.

Had dinner with Keith, Moria, Andrew, and Christina, at Keith and Moira's place in Griesheim.

Sandro and Enrico here for the hand-over of my tasks and current projects. Busy day.

So they captured Saddam. They claim.

Went with Jens, Olga, and Liliya to visit Kristian in Stuttgart. Saw the Daimler Chrysler factory (from the outside) - employing 40000 people, producing 2000 cars every day. Saw the Stuttgart Weihnachtsmarkt, went ice skating (first time in 16 years... I was not very good), had drinks at local bar, was home at 03:30.

Booked my flight home, January 2nd 2004.

My accomodation in Copenhagen untill the 15th of March is now settled. I will be subrenting a room at Spaniensgade, Amager.

Super weather. Clear bright sky, lots of sun, but fucking cold!!!

Got myself a new haircut. Didn't have the guts to ask for something crazy, so sorry - no blue hair with spikes on the top and the sides shaved, for me. Maybe next time.

Lunch: Turkey leg filled with apples and chestnuts on a morel sauce, Potato wedges. A varity of cheese for the second course. A nice Cote du Rhone 2002 redwine. 5,25 EUR.
