Going scuba diving this evening, and tomorrow, the 30th I head for one week's sailing near Shannon in Ireland. Be back around the 7th of September.

Arrived in Immenstaad (Pension w/ Frau Berger, Hauptstrasse 56) around 10 pm, Friday evening. Sailed in very nice weather (30 DEG C, some - but not much - wind) with skipper Peter (BoeWag Yachtschule), Denise, and Volker - Saturday and Sunday from 10 till 18. Sunday caught the 19:33 train from Friedrichshafen to Stuttgart and the ICE 22:11 from Stuttgart to Darmstadt. Was home sleeping around 0:20 Monday morning.

Back. Friday evening I met with x-collegues from Mobilix at Tapas Baren in Dronningens Tvaergade 22 - very nice restaurant, where we also ran into famous Danish actress Iben Hjele (IMDB) and Casper Kristensen. Had beers at Zirup afterwards. Slept at Thomas' place in Vesterbro. Saturday I took the bus from Enghavestation to Central Station where I deposited my suitcase. Then I went shopping for books (for myself), white damask napkins (for the happy newly-weds), lunch (den Groenne Kaelder, vegetarian, in Pilestraede), and a new butterfly for my tux (in Magasin). At 14 I was picked up by Peter, Eva, and Palle, at Central Station, thencefrom we drove to Malmo for the wedding party. Here we met Niels, Anna, Anton, and Linus and a lot of Swedish and Danish people with whom we ate and drank and had party games till Sunday morning. I caught the 11:13 train from Malmo South to Oerestaden, and thence the metro to Islandsbrygge Station, where I met Per. We had lunch at Cafe Kul og Koks (if I remember correctly). Around 15:15 Jesper came by and picked me up, and drove me to Bellahoej, where I met Jes and Gitte and saw Jes' new apartment. At 17 I caught bus 250S to Copenhagen Airport, and jumped on the Lufthansa plane leaving 19:10, arriving in Frankfurt 20:30. Here Keith kindly picked me up - and I was home sleeping around 21:00.
The weather in southern Scandinavia was good, some 21 DEG C, but sunny. I especially enjoyed the overwhelming number of good-looking, well tanned, blonde scandinavian girls in white t-shirts in central Copenhagen. There simply aren't very many of those down here.

Met with Chris, Dirk, and Alessandra, with whom I'm going sailing in Ireland in September.

Ordered a Dessau armchair in the local Ligne Roset furniture shop. Will be delivered in mid October...
